This was so funny! Laughed a lot and good character development, easy reading and enjoyed the writing of this one.
I listened to the audio on this one. It was okay. Wasn't great, wasn't bad. It was just in the middle for me.

I liked it but the main characters got to me a little bit. Hook up years later turns into her next door neighbor. Of course all of the gorgeous men live on the same street (setting up the series, I’m sure). I really wanted to love Henley, and I did. But did he have to be SO emotionally stunted? And Juliette, did she have to fall in love so quickly with this emotionally damaged man? She was annoying at times. That aside, it was an enjoyable read.

what happened?
gosh I am so disappointed you know, I loved t.l. swan's miles high club series and I was so excited at the thought of a new series starting!! that hope crashed and burned really quickly.
the start of the book is actually quite good, I thought it showed so much potential...and thennnnn nothing. henley had the potential of being an amazing mmc but honestly I kinda hated him. he was both spineless and dominating in a cringe way [see gif above for my reaction once again] and juliet was no better. I didn't connect with either of them, yes they had great sexual chemistry but even then, where's Juliet's self respect? this man is all over the place (at best) and she gives in so easily!
some of the dialogues made me heave too. huge shame, I hope the next books in this series will be better as I am curious to see who we will see next!
