Love it! Although it tell the same story it's nice to get a glimpse inside this hunky mans head. Yummy with whipped cream on top!

Just as great as Legal Affairs!

I don’t typically read the versions of books written in another character’s perspective, but, I loved Mac and Matt so much I couldn’t help it. And, I am so glad I did. It’s not necessary to have read ‘legal affairs’ to enjoy this book but I would recommend it because it just makes the story better.

Following Matt’s evolution from “One Night Only” to a man reluctantly in love (not that he admits it) to a man who is head over heals was more emotional than I thought it would be. While Mac had a great understanding of him (in ‘legal affairs’) hearing Matt struggle with his past is heart wrenching at some moments.

Another great one from Sawyer Bennett!

I read Legal Affairs #1 a few years ago and loved Matt and Mac then already. When I found that Confessions of a Litigation God was told solely from Matt's POV I was all in. I really loved learning what Matt was going through throughout their love story and how he learned to overcome his issues of not being able to commit to a relationship with a woman. Loved it all, especially the between-the-sheets action. So HOT!!

A great expansion of Matt and McKayla's story (from the novel Legal Affairs) entirely from Matt's perspective. It pretty much follows the events from Legal Affairs scene-by-scene, with some exceptions and a more expansive epilogue.

I think it's more of a 2,5 than a 3. This was hard to rate.
There were some aspects of the book I liked. The betrayal the hero is dealing with gives the character room to grow and I liked that we see him go through all the stages for him to be okay with it.

I love that it's an office romance but I wasn't a fan of the romance if that makes sense. There was actually almost no romance to be honest. The big focus of this book was both the characters having sex again and again and again. So, it got boring. Also, Matt's inner dialogue made me want to hit him sometimes. I didn't get attached to either of the characters. They were either okay or annoying.

Here's the deal with Sawyer Bennett...she writes it, I read it. End of story. I devoured the Legal Affairs series, suffering between release dates. When I saw this ARC on Netgalley I giggled, screamed and danced!

I typically find reading the same story in a different POV a bit boring and not always as entertaining...as a result, I rarely do it. I'm not sure if Bennett or Connover won me over this time, but fuuuu-reeeek-ing awesome!

This was some MAJOR insight into the battle we knew Matt was having in the series, but there is something about this hot arrogant man that just makes you cheer for him, even when he's being an ass; which is quite a bit.

Absolutely loved this POV and the fact it was a full on novel. Bravo, Sawyer Bennett....Bravo!
