Loved his first book, The Geography of Bliss, and this book is only slightley less enjoyable. his style of searching for answers fits my logic but includes travel and thought and believing in what's not logical. fantastic read.
This book is interesting, but a very slow read. Weiner never met a self-absorption he didn't like. I'll read almost anyone's religious exploration, but ultimately I kept thinking- what if... for one minute... your search for God wasn't about YOU, but about God or your neighbor or the world. There are glimpses of this, but I'm still wondering if the effort to read this book was worth it.
I highly recommend this book, the writing was excellent and the stories were both informative and hilarious.

This was a very interesting book and a great journey. I have a lot of questions when it comes to God and religion in the whole so this was a curious book to read. My answers were not miraculously answered but I learned a lot!

Wonderfully informative and personal. I gave it to two other people before I'd finished listened to the CDs and they both loved it, too.
I don't know what to say. This book leads me to ask way too many questions. I don't think I understand all of it honestly. I can't even write a coherent paragraph of my thoughts on this book for now.
Terjemahan bukunya bagus. Aku juga mendapat banyak pengetahuan baru pasca membaca bukunya. Seperti biasa, format buku yang ala catatan perjalanan ini juga menyenangkan ketika dibaca. Memang dasarnya otak ini belum siap saja, aku masih sering dibuat bingung oleh muatan filosofis kental yang ada dalam buku ini. I believe I learn a thing or two even though in all honesty I can't be so sure.
Beberapa tahun lagi, aku akan kembali "mengunjungi" buku ini dan 2 karya Weiner yang lain. Mungkin aku akhirnya mendapatkan kesadaran baru di kala itu.
