Planning a longer, more detailed review on TBR Reviews but just want to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the hell out of this book. I had one issue but I still rounded up my 4.5 rating for goodreads. I’m also in an emotional space and I think that increased my enjoyment.

3.5 stars. I really enjoyed this one. I liked the meet cute. And the way they worked through long distance dating.

Love love love this book. It had me so happy and giddy the entire time.
I absolutely love how Chloe cares for Piper. Not piper Sheridan the celebrity but her Piper. You can feel how comfortable these two feel around each other. How well they complement and gravitate towards each other.
I think Chloe is one of the most supportive fictional GF’s ive read, even with everything and I just adore her. I also love seeing Pipes growth, without erasing everything that happened. Seeing how it shaped her and where shes going.
I just loved it.
There are some very heavy themes in this book such as TW: suicide, Panic Attacks and Drunk Driving

okay i love this midnight in manhattan series we’ve got going here, but this is probably my least favorite of the three i’ve read so far- i LOVE a celebrity romance trope, don’t get me wrong!! but something about the pacing of this book wasn’t really my favorite? they were too happy too soon! and then the biggest sort of conflict came at the very very end and was resolved in a chapter which isn’t always my favorite romance novel trope, BUT i think both of the characters were very likable and piper as sam is hot as hell, i get chloe. loved the epilogue scene, it was a cute callback to earlier in the novel! i hate to give this a 3 star, but it was a much harder read for me than the other two. excited to read the 4th book!!

I feel like this had a pacing problem. I loved the beginning of the story and Piper so much. But halfway through, it kind of dragged out to me while the ending felt rushed. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it.

audiobook re-read: I bumped this up a star, Lori Prince’s narration added even more to the story that I enjoyed, but didn’t love as much as the others in the series.

3.5 stars. I enjoyed this overall. I thought it was a quick and light read, with enjoyable characters whose dynamic I liked seeing play out on page. It didn’t quite get into my gut the way the first two books did though, and I thought that maybe the ended wrapped up a little quick and felt just the tiniest bit rushed? It was certainly an enjoyable read that I would rec, but it didn’t have that extra thing that will make me want to come back and revisit it a lot, I don’t think. It might end up with a higher rating when I listen to it as an audiobook once that finally comes out thought, bc I can already picture Lori Prince’s possible performance for Piper, and I’m deeply excited to experience that.
