I can usually guess whodunnit about halfway through. I was wrong. Then I was wrong again. This was a great book. Well done.
Liked the first two better. I thought the resolution in this one was pretty unsatisfying.

Ok I just finished this book, and can someone clue me on? Did Lena do it or not? It seems that she was surprised/melancholy that the knife was broken. Seems like it could go either way. Even though Lena is incredibly broken at this point I don’t want her to be a murderer.
I was about half-way through before I realized it's third in a series.

I would only have given this three stars until the last paragraph of the book. Lena's downward spiral was just too much of a downer for me. But the last few sentences redeemed it.
Good stuff as usual from Slaughter. Gripping and gory - definitely not one for those who are squeamish. 7/10
