Informative though nothing new to me, and some parts were validating and echoed my own experiences but towards the second half of the book the tone started feeling very prescriptive and somewhat patronizing

it would seem I am absolutely not a non-fiction girly. it was interesting, but i gained literally no enjoyment. if anything, it gave me MASSIVE anxiety because I kept on questioning my own experiences and behaviors (but that's touch and go, i'm just like that).
