I wouldn’t mind the constant cycle of one person gets angry at another for something stupid> they argue>they fuck and never actually address the issue again or verbally apologize>repeat if it actually had a good/interesting plot or likable characters to make up for it.
Also one of the arguments was the MMC basically saying “why do you care that your people are enslaved? It’s not like you’re actually FROM the island, and they just have sex after to show that he’s sorry?? Excuse me no.

“Men want power. Women want to exist without fear.”

Loving the feminist turn this series took in this book. Not loving the abrupt ending. I actually gasped.

I am so tired of reading books with weak whiny and needy main female characters. Other than that I love the books Scarlett St. Clair writes.

This was one of my must get to's this year and I'm so happy I got to it. This one is definitely competing with the first one on being my favorite one. I really enjoy this series and can't get over how I can't get enough of it. The characters in this book are soooooo amazing and all the twists and turns! I hope she is thinking of doing a few books in this series cause I can't get enough.
