Vampires, werewolves, witches oh my! There were way to many plot points for the length of this book nothing was thought through of fleshed out it felt like the author just storied boarded the book and never narrowed it down. This book either needed to be 1200 pages or three books. Also to make matters worse the whole book is supposed to take place in less than a month which is very confusing.

  • 2.5🌶️. The 2.5 spicy rating is for the quantity of spicy scenes not quality. This book is heavy on the adult content, which is good for those going in with that expectation.
  • This books plot was all over the place. The writing didn’t do the universe/ potential plot justice.
  • Isolde found any and every reason to fight with Adrian and it was exhausting. It felt like she bashed him 90% of the book. She went from the most loveable character to the most annoying really quickly.
  • This was a second book blunder for me, so hopefully book 3 may tie it back to the main plot line when it comes out.
  • Killian, Adrian and Daroc stole the spotlight of the book for me.
  • The concepts were there just poorly executed. It wasn’t terrible but it was far from great if you are reading for anything other than vampire spice.
  • The twist at the end was predictable but nice.

Thought I could read it after I managed to actually finished book 1. It’s just bad sex scenes and horrible writing. This book was even worse.
