 I enjoyed most of this book but I found part 2 very challenging to read. 
I think it had a great build up but after the first major plot twist I struggled to change my feelings about a character that had been  written to be unlikeable. The manipulation and emotional abuse were particularly unenjoyable to read. 
The ending was good but I think there were too many sudden plot twists right at the end of the book.

Very well done and enthralling, but I had some trouble reading this book. Warning for those who have been through abusive relationships and/or been subjected to gaslight games. None of these characters are likeable except maybe Enzo... But it works.

Millie accepts a job as a housekeeper for the Winchesters…but the role does not end up being quite what she expected.

This was the January pick for my book club and for me, it REALLY delivered. I was hooked from the beginning and loved the short chapters and fast-moving plot. I wasn’t particularly a fan of any of the characters, but I don’t mind that when it comes to a thriller. What I DID love was the plot, which I found to be, for lack of a better word, bloodthirsty, and fun in the best way. The nonstop twists and turns towards the end also really hooked me, and I thought the book ended on exactly the right note.

All in all, this is definitely a popcorn thriller, but I had SO much fun with it that I have nothing to complain about.

Enjoyable and fast read, but the characters feel underdeveloped and stocky. Also, for a thriller the writing style seemed sloppy and the plot too predictable.
