The book reads like butter. It's short and I feel like it could have been longer as there were many loose ends. But perhaps that is intentional. Enjoyed the book and would recommend it as a quick read

This one was just okay. It was a quick read with lots of action. I think that the short length made it so the overall story didn’t have a lot of depths. All of the characters were one dimensional and the plot moved quickly without a lot of description. Overall I think I wanted a little bit more from this.

I would probably say 3.5. It was a fun ride. The ending maybe wrapped up a little too fast and neat for me. But I liked the dual timeline and the lead character was complicated and a good read.

Super fast read with a scrappy main character. Lots of fast-moving action and while the second part wrapped things up a bit too quickly and neatly, this was a fun read for anyone who needs a break from the heavy stuff.
