A quick if forgettable romp. I didn't connect with the characters, and the story didn't get me feeling much of anything. I wasn't wowed by the writing. But if you're looking for an easy read, you could do worse. <shrug> More than anything the book made me curious about manuscript selection and what factors are involved in deciding what ultimately gets published.

I could not possibly have cared less about these characters. About halfway through I started skimming because I was so bored and it didn’t get any better. Really just not believable or surprising in any way. Definitely not for me.
