When I read Reckless Heir I knew that I wanted to read about Dmitry, and my god did this book deliver. I do think that the book should have spent a bit more time in the present, with the couple, than it did with them apart in the past. Loved the spicy scenes in the book and Dmitry is very much a “touch her and die kind of guy”… oh and did I mentioned pierced. Thanks for the Early copy Jenika.

I was so excited for this one, but it just fell so short for me. The tropes were everything I could have wanted & more, so I was thrilled when this finally released. And then made it my first read of 2023. I really don't know what happened here, but I just didn't connect with either main character at all. Wasn't much suspense or drama. There was plenty of spice, though so it hit the marks there.
I was more invested in Amara & Nikolai (side couple) than the main couple. They were adorable.

Every time I pick up a Jenika Snow book, I already know the spice is going to be amazing and this book was no different! Dmitry is everything I love in a sexy, alpha, mafia man and his possessiveness was top tier. Highly recommend this book and this series!
