I absolutely LOVED this story, LOVED.

I only found Jessica Hawkins just last week, and burned through her "Explicitly Yours" trilogy, thinking that was a wild ride... well, this book is just as much of a wild ride!!!!

I really needed to find out how this was going to end and what the hell Sadie did to Nathan to warrant his treating her like such shit throughout the book, so I came to GR to read a few spoilers... and I found a lot of these ratings are bad... because people don't like reading cheating stories.

I guess I DO like reading cheating stories because I could not stop listening to this book at all! I feel like Sadie made the right decision in the end, and it all felt totally real.

I can't wait to dig deeper into more of JH's books!

5/5!!!!

really enjoyed the book and the writing... However, I just could not justify why or how this scenario could ever feel "alright"...

If you love a toxic and angsty romance, definitely give this a read!

This book follows Sadie and Nathan. After 7 years of marriage, Nathan starts to shut Sadie out with little explanation.

Sadie becomes lonely and confused and leans on none other than her handsome neighbor, Finn.

Yes, this book does have cheating. It’s very messy and toxic but I could not put this one down! I read this in less than 24 hours

Dnf because I spoiled myself with who she ended up with, and I it wasn’t who I wanted it to be. Other then that I was enjoying it. The writing is good and it’s pretty easy to get into.

Unlikable heroine.

I still see no reason for her cheating on her husband or for him forgiving her.

I’m devastated. She should have chosen Finn instead of her husband. I don’t understand why she built all that chemistry in between Sadie and Finn (and history too) to just put Sadie back with her husband ? Also the back and forth was so boring. I feel so bad for Finn he was only trying to be supportive and patient but she tagged him along. Justice for Finn.
