This book feels, besides many other things, like a love letter from Michelle Obama to her parents, husband, children and friends. It is so special, I had tears in my eyes a LOT of times.

Really powerful and excellent read. I loved learning about her experiences in Chicago and it opened my eyes to a new perspective about the city. But most of all her respect and honor towards military families moved me to tears. I’m so thankful for the work Michelle Obama did to help military families and her kindness towards us is so moving.

Interesting, informative, well-written, and well-narrated. Very steady and staid. I wonder how many people had to read and approve this before it was published and what-all she was made to edit before publication.

Becoming has been on my must read list for years and I’m so glad I finally took the time to sit down and read it. A beautiful read!
