Stolen Tongues by Felix Blackwell felt like the same story on repeat—over and over again. It got tedious fast, and I didn’t connect with the characters at all. The only part I appreciated was the portrayal of Indigenous people in a modern, complex way. Overall, not for me, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Probably won’t pick up another from this author.

Really a 4.5. it's so damn creepy and very well-written. Half a star for not the best execution of the ending. It's told in a "oh yeah, let me tell you how this ends" manner.
