I picked this up out of my longing for more Big Mouth - it was pretty easy to listen to, and I got some laughs out of it.
Very funny throughout but disappointed how much it focused on finding a guy & having a baby = fulfilment.
I am just embarrassed that I'm just now meeting Jessi Klein. An American treasure - vomit. She's not but gosh her timing and the way she tells her stories makes me LOL a lot AND she just tells good stories. I want to be her friend but I'm afraid I'm not cool enough to be her friend- but I still want it.
Written by the head writer of the Amy Schumer show, it was funny, and smart and bittersweet, but I wanted it to be funnier.
A fun listen, but got hurrrrky at some privilegeywhiney bits.
Not as amusing as amazing or laugh out loud as other comedic memoirs I've read, but entertaining and relatable nonetheless.
