Amazing, spellbinding, genial.
I cannot even express the love I have for this book (if not for the whole series). I absolutely adore every moment I get to spend in the Hogwarts world.
With every Harry Potter book, the themes get darker and darker. But at the same time, this is the foundation for new connections or plot twists.
The whole world is so brilliantly written and the more I know, the more impressed I am.

This has been and will always be my favourite in the series. The way that the themes get slightly darker and yet aren’t completely “warlike” yet as well as Harry learning more about his parents. This book also is well edited with not many filler scenes which is appreciated. I do carry a lot of nostalgia over this series and part of me will always love the characters. I am excited to continue with my reread.

Rereading the series and this is my favourite of all of them. It took me ages to finish because life got in the way but I love Buckbeak and it always makes me happy when they rescue Sirius and they go flying off together.
