I loved this, the heroine has to be one of my faves so far with her superstitions and silly questions...... Very very relate able..... The story was fantastic too bringing some fresh meat into pact Phoenix.
Like i have said in previous reviews for this series it does follow a pattern, but completely different at the same time never hindering my enjoyment. I would be curios to read a novella of an imprinted couple too...
But huge 5 stars As Kenna and Ryan lead us into a whole new storyline.
re - read still love it and Kenna's Isms

Book five of The Phoenix Pack by Suzanne Wright.
Ryan is enforcer for the Phoenix pack and very isolated from others in pack. He's very loyal but because of a shitty upbringing he struggles to express his feelings to others.
McKenna works as a volunteer at the local Loner centre.
Really enjoyed this book and how the Phoenix Pack has expanded with other shifter children of difference species been included in the Pack.
You find with a series with many books in it about same Pack the writer struggles to keep it fresh but this writer keeps bringing new this to table. Looking forward to more in series especially with new additions to Phoenix Pack.

As always, it is a good story with a despicable villain and lots of family trauma for everyone.
But it is the same pattern in each book.
Yet, I can’t wait for the next one in the Olympus series to come out. So, it is a pattern that works well!

I have read all of the phoenix pack series and I would 100% say that the first one is the best one, but I did really enjoy the whole series. I highly recommend these for a fun read with spice. I will say that the spice scenes do get a little redundant in these because they get kinda repetitive, but it didn’t deter me from continuing my read!
I know when I pick up a Suzanne Wright book, I'm not gonna be disappointed. I can guarantee that the book will be another great instalment in the Phoenix pack series, adding more elements and dimensions to this ever-growing world that she's creating and I'm all for it if it means I get more books.
Ryan and Makenna are yin and yang, they could not be more opposite with their appearances and personalities but they both have the same morals and beliefs which is what makes them work. Suzanne hasn't written a character quite like Makenna in the series so far and I loved the quirkiness her character added to the story and to the pack. Suzanne gave us another strong heroine with a twist. Makenna really brought Ryan out of his hard exterior and made him start to express his feelings more and use his WORDS!!! He was also committed to their pairing from the start, even when Makenna had doubts, bringing all the alpha vibes.
Makenna still has so much potential in this series, especially with the added element of her parents pack coming into play. The possibilities are endless if Suzanne wanted to take it further in the series. What I'm probably suggesting is a long shot but a girl can dream.

This was pretty good. There were a lot of suspenseful moments and I liked the hero and heroine's interactions as well as the pack dynamics. There were also some nice hints re: Tao and Dominic.
Savage urges
I could not wait to read Ryan's story. It certainly did not disappoint. I was happy for once that the figured out they were mates early. I also loved that Ryan accepted it so quickly. I thought he would be difficult because of his personality but he surprised me.
