Like the Great Believers, there are ghosts here, but they linger in new ways. This is slower paced novel that weaves in and out of time and asks more questions than it answers, even if it leaves us with more resolution than I anticipated.

I really loved this one. The mystery kept me hooked, but all the characters were so well developed and believably flawed that I just wanted to keep going. Beautiful—and provocative—book
