I so enjoyed this book! Read it after reading Hunt the stars. Let's see, bad ass women, men who are all about consent, an intense storyline. YES PLEASE.

I loved the concept, but the last 4th dragged so much I was skimming and very close to dnf-ing. Not sure I'll read more in the series. I feel like I got the gist.

Yes. That. Exactly what I am looking for in a space opera.
It has romance, action, an awesome kick ass heroine, a sexy outlaw with hidden extras and a conspiracy which may lead to war. Ada is a daughter of the one of the ruling houses of the Consortium, on the run from and arranged marriage. She teams up with an outlaw to escape the bounty hunters on her tail and all to soon they stumble onto information that could cause a war. This was sooo good. I really liked Ada, she was able to take care of herself, had the perfect mix of smarts, loyalty, ruthlessness, political savy and goodness. I love how she was always thinking and planning, and how Loch & Ada take turns rescuing each other.

Really fun book, with completely kick-ass characters. I love the sass, I love the smarts, I love the confident negotiations. Can't wait to see what happens next in this epic space adventure! BTW, it is mostly space adventure, but there are also steamy romance scenes, so if that's not your vibe, this isn't for you. I'm really hopeful that the series will continue the excellent storytelling.
