Some of my favourite Plath poems, beautiful and tragic at the same time.

That was so dark. It left me so cold afterwards. Amazing poetry, tho. It speaks volumes. The poems are too powerful for mere pages to contain.

definitely a lot darker than her other works but that is a given since these were near her death, which might have been why i found the imagery and descriptions a bit complicated but maybe im too silly and cool to understand. i did enjoy the gloomy atmosphere throughout and her focus on nature which is quite unlike ariel. i felt like gigolo and by candlelight were probably my favourites, i particularly enjoyed her use of religious imagery and sea animals in gigolo. the three women section was gorgeous i just wish the radio play was available. i wouldn't decsribe this as a nice read since it was quite difficult at points, interpretation and emotion wise, but i overall enjoyed reading it.
