It was a freaking brilliant novel. I want to give it a gazillion stars if possible. My heart aches for them. So much loss and pain. I suffocated with them. My rune, brand and addam. I have so much love for them. I want the three to be together and happy. Don't make complications. And when will I get to read more of them. Please please I want the next book soon.

Once again the story is an action filled epic adventure that still has the humour, family and romance aspect that we have come to associatewith Edwards' writing. While i was not as captiavted as i was with TLS, the antagonist introduced in THT is a lot more compelling than the Hanged man. Lady time has a clear motivation behind her actions, as misguided as they might be. The development of Rune is very clear in this book, we see his growth when it comes to intrerpersonal relationships with laine, anna, corbie and adam. Rune is starting to understand his role as Lord sun both interms of bieing the leader of a household but also realziing his power as a sitting mmber of the Arcanum. The time travel aspect was clevelry introduced, this can often get messy when it comes to plotholes however it was used in a way with very clearly defined boundaries. Once again the story was captviating and i just burned through it once the main events started. Quinn was brilliant as usual, though limited in his apperance although this is likely due to the magnus academy series. Corbie brings the fun aspect that was often up to Rune to provide but as he matures this role isbeing shifted to corbie. I really enjyoed Rune renaming his court to the misfit court, this really fits his found family. It was to start getting a better understanding of what happened the night of the raid on the sun throne, the way that they revealed the big secret about Rune and Brand was brutal but done in a way that served Runes storyline. He is learning that doing everything alone is not sustainable so opening up to Adam allowed some of the pain to be lessened. The Tower's funeral was touching.

The majeure power is a little confusing, it can just do anything? I need Max to do more, the start of TLS sets him up as a key part of the story, while it could be argued that lady love just wanted rune to protect him from the hanged man but i beleive that he has a greater importance than just that. Corrine and Diana are nothing characters in the sense that their dynamic with rune dpends heavily on others as well has having very little magical aspects about them, i would prefer if we saw Rune have more interactions with max and the kids instead of those 2. I'm a little nervous of how the conflicts will continue to advance, the scale of each book keeps getting bigger and if the next book continues this trend it could get a little tiresome. A large part of the charm of TLS is that it was a more personal conflict.

I am desparate to know who that woman at the end is and how she connects to the larger story. There is also something going on with the Dawncreeks, laine, corbie and anna all of tremendous abilities and i am thinking that they will play a large part in the prophecy. Im also wondering if that women that Rune hears during his majeure sometimes is his mom? Also i was left a little confused whether or not rune could have used that time loop to figure out who the other masked men were during the attack, im not sure if the inside of the shack was not part of the loop but either way i guess it can be explained by Rune not wanting to relive those events but i guess Adam could have been the one?

I'm probably a little biased about my rating here. The author is wonderful and this series is everything. I love these characters so damn much. I want a Brand. But also an Addam. And I wanna be friends with Rune and Ciaran and Zurah.

I need more than five stars for this series because each book is better than the last. I cried a bit and felt warm and am just honestly sad this book is over.

Literally my only regret about this series is that I discovered it when I did because there are SIX MORE BOOKS that I need to wait for. The Hourglass Throne came out two days ago and I'm already eager for the next.

I need to become more well renowned on GoodReads so I can get some ARCs....
