4.5 stars.
Fabulous little book on how to become a wonderfully independent, genuine, alive, valuable, and compassionate person, friend and contribution to the human race. If you are blaming circumstances or other people for your situation, shake it off and level up. We are 100% what we make of ourselves. Own it.

What makes this book extra interesting and fun are the insightful Igbo proverbs that the author has inherited from her Nigerian Mother, and how she has incorporated their wisdom into her own life.

The audiobook is amazingly well read by the author.

I first read this when I was about fourteen, and now I’m reading it for the second time at nineteen. It’s interesting to go back and see the pages that I bookmarked and to reminisce on why I might have bookmarked them in the first place and to compare the two different times and different situations and mental places, etc that I, now, am in. I did feel some pages that I didn’t bookmark originally come to speak to me so I feel like WATTBA is a great book to go back and reevaluate points in your life, especially if you’re struggling with navigating your life and internal, as well as, external relationships. Because we are all constantly evolving.
