I have many characters in Wings Of Fire that I really like but Darkstalker is something else. He is so interesting, one minute he's good then he's bad then he's good again and will do anything for his love Clearsight then he doesn't trust her then he hates Fathom then he trusts Clearsight again but she betrays him to save Pyrrhia so ultimately it didn't work out because he did too much evil such as trapping Indigo, killing his father and messing with Clearsight's powers. Overall I love this book and Clearsight's, Fathom and Darkstalker are some of my absolute fave characters in the series. And of course we get to see Darkstalker again in the Jade Mountain Prophecy arc, his unique bond with Moonwatcher and how deep his hate for SeaWings became after Fathom's betrayal

Well, it was really a good book. It's on a good set for the age it was targeting and it has that darkness the kids won't be to afried to jumb itno it. I think I need to start the Wing Of Fire series soon. I LOVE DRAGONS

I was crying by the end of this for quite obvious reasons if you have read the book. An excellent story about three friends who are destined to be broken apart and who have to deal with issues such as betrayal and the difference between good and evil.

4.25 overall!

Pretty good considering I haven't read the series that this is a prequel to. Might have to slowly read the initial series one by one. Very nice MG fantasy, and a good little intro to dragon fantasy!
