I love her writing! Her honest memoir was hard to read sometimes, as we as readers sort of watch her crash and burn her young life. But in the end it’s hopeful and a funny memoir.

“Nearly everything I know about love, I’ve learnt in my long-term friendships with women. Particularly the ones I have lived with at one point or another. I know what it is to know every tiny detail about a person and revel in that knowledge as if it were an academic subject.”

if you're in your twenties, you need to read this.

Found my comfort book 🤍. This is one book I wish to gift my girl friends. Truly, an ode to female friendships. For anyone navigating through their twenties, please pick this book. You won't regret reading it. I believe this book has something in it for everyone out there.

I know I’m in the minority with this rating but I just could not relate to the majority of topics. A lot of it came off as jealously, a bit woe is me, and I felt myself rolling my eyes throughout. I can fully understand why others love and connect with it, it just wasn’t for me.

Reading this going from 28 to 29 was really comforting, as was my timing with seeing Barbie. I love that these pieces of media celebrate friendship and all forms of love, not just romantic love, whilst reminding us that we are worthy of love and light and all joy in life.
