I love this series, it’s a comfort read for me, but it’s fairly dated for a contemporary romance, and this first book is my least favorite of the 4. But Anna is a great character (despite the obvious ethical lapse lmao) and the brothers are fun.

So dumb and predictable. So enjoyable.

2.5. The base story was good at times. I couldn’t get into this book. I think perhaps this book just isn’t holding up to the passage of time.

Predictable but had it's moments that were unique. The base concept was unique, as well. LOVE that it was set on the Chesapeake. Though I'm not a romance reader, typically, I will likely continue this series. Bonus points for pretty cover and deckled-edge pages.
