3.5- This was an interesting book, it was definitely weird, it wasn't so much scary but more unnerving, you never really knew where things were headed and when you got there it made you question what's the point of it all. I found the formatting of the book interesting to see what would normally be visual to be in a written format was not what I expected but I thought it worked for the type of book. I'd say if you're looking for odd, weird, this is the book for you.

I ended up listening to the audio, and boy am I glad I did. I honestly don't think I would have enjoyed it as much reading it physically. There was a full cast, and it was dramatized. The added sound effects really added to the story. I loved the epistolary format. It really worked well for the plot and premise of the book. The beginning was a tad slow as we got background on the characters, but the middle picked up and was really enjoyable. The ending was such a trip, and I loved the vibes. It is open-ended, and that isn't my favorite thing, but it made sense for this book in particular.
