I would strongly implore anyone thinking of reading this to book, to make sure that you go into it with the appropriate context and understanding that Cullen perpetuates all sorts of myths with respect to the shooting and actively excludes information as convenient for his narrative. Quite frankly it feels very irresponsible given the subject matter, and extremely exploitative.

Probably a lot of what you think you know about Columbine is wrong—even if you've read pieces in the last decade about how what you think you know about Columbine is wrong. The most effective debunking substitutes, as much as possible, a true narrative to eradicate the tendrils of misapprehension, exaggeration, confusion and outright deceit, and this is that book.
