I will never look at ketchup packets the same way again...I'd lie if I said I didn't both laugh and was also a bit traumatised by that scene. Goal achieved?

Anyway, the warnings are there for a reason, and nobody (except maybe Indie) is a good person, least of all Lux. There are some dark things that go on, but most of it isn't related to the two main characters.

I like that actually, their relationship with each other, while really fast (went from zero to I love you in 2 days), wasn't as sick and depraved as their surroundings. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn't really make sense.

Because like, Lux had a really traumatic childhood, we find that out early on (I read that one line and was like "oh we're going there omg") and he's been running this carnival for a decade, never participating in the events he was hosting, and then suddenly Indie shows up and he's okay with being touched, but only by her.

Maybe this is only an issue because of the length, if it was a full length book there'd be more depth to their relationship and we'd get to see why Indie is so special. I kinda refuse to believe that no one else he perceived as innocent came into his tent in all those years.

I still liked it though, and had a good time reading it. Aaaaand shoutout to Claire for having the best style in the book, even if she wasn't a very good friend.

absolutely loved!!!!

I absolutely loved this! Lux & Indie were starstruck from the beginning. Their souls spoke to each other on another level. The spice scene was delicious, the silks just

Man oh man where do I start? I consumed this book in one sitting! The writing style was perfection. The entire book had me ready to read what comes next and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. There were moments where I was like what did I just read? Lux honey you are new book boyfriend material! Your demons are sooooo yum. This book checked off so many boxes for me. Chefs kiss nova kane you did great babe!

Very dark spicy novella... I look forward to getting more of Indie and Lux cause this wasn't enough! Definitely check TW as there may be some content not suitable for some. And like others who have read... I'll never look at ketchup packets the same again 🫠

"Tonight every inch of your perfectly pure fucking skin, is the only thing that can satisfy my craving."-Lux

This novella was perfect. I love the circus dynamic of this novella. Never would I have ever thought this would be a dark romance... Now I want more circus type stories. Before we continue please read the trigger warnings. There is quiet a collection.

Here is what to expect:

Dual POV
Kn!fe play
Masked MMC
Whipping
Voyeurism

I was hooked after reading the dedication. I knew this was going to be a great read. Oh my gosh! I need more of Lux and Indie's relationship. Their chemistry is so addicting and I didn't want it to end. Lux is not a great guy, he is broody, dark and honestly brutal. I held onto every single word when he interacted with Indie. Tryin to convince her to stay away from the den of monsters. I mean who wouldn't after meeting someone mysteriously dark and looks like a sex god with a mask?

You can say I'm now obsessed with erotic horror. 14 chapters is not enough for their story.

Oh and that ending... I didn't see that coming.

Thank you Nova for letting me read this beautiful Novella before its release on 3/9/24.

WOULD I BE DEPRAVED AND UNHINGED IF I SAID I LOVED THIS BOOK? YES, DO I GIVE A FUCK? NOT REALLY NO.

I LOVED IT, LIKE AHHHH, I NEED MORE OF LUX AND INDIES'S CRAZINESS, PLEASE, AND THANK YOU.

The necrophilia was a TEENY TINY bit hard to get through and still makes my stomach churn when I think about it and so does the non-con drugging but nothing else made me that deeply uncomfortable and disgusted.

I still want more of them though
