This was great until the antagonists were antagonizing. Then it was a little too cliche. Absolutely clean romance - there’s not even a hint of sex. There’s talk of lingerie, but no wearing it.
Moderate: Medical content, Abandonment

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Short review because I feel like there isn’t much to say here….
Read this in one sitting, and it’s cute, but for me, it felt a little more sophomoric in nature than I expected it to be. I read the other two in the series and I don’t remember feeling that way afterwards. Maybe it’s me?
Main characters are friends, one is oblivious to the other’s feelings. MMC is extravagant with his gifts and his love. FMC (I found) only fell for friend after he did something insanely huge for her. I never felt she fully reciprocated equally. The MMC, I feel like got the short end of the stick here. More effort and everything put in by him and the FMC gets all the benefits. I don’t know, it just didn’t….it just didn’t anything for me.
BUT it was cute.
Not the cutest book I’ve read, but it was pleasant enough. Just didn’t feel, I don’t know…anything?
