This was my very first Dean Koontz book that I read, 14 years ago that made me fall in love with his writing. I LOVE this book!

The worst Koontz book I've read.

It's been awhile since I've read a longer one.
It is typical Koontz. Get the 4 main protags, tell their piece, then bring em together.
I love it. But I always forget how it's hard for me to follow and remember. And audio even harder. But when it comes together, I love it and want to read it again
I don't know why it's so hard for me to follow but that's my brain.

Ok enough about me. The story. It was good. All these people being tormented. I don't remember learning why these specific people. I remember two of them but not the rest.

I didn't guess what was happening but when I found out, it seemed obvious.

I would recommend to Koontz lovers

Harry Lyon is a police officer that loves to be rational and tries not to let his job harden his heart. However, things take a turn for the strange after he is forced to shoot someone in the line of duty. Suddenly there's a hobo claiming that he will be dead by dawn and other people are dying in mysterious ways. He wonders at first if he's having some kind of psychotic break due to the trauma of having to shoot someone but finds his partner, Connie, has also been approached by the same individual. He always loved fairy and folk tales and begins to wonder if something more supernatural is at work. This was something I didn't want to put down and wonderfully written. I especially enjoyed the segments where a stray dog's viewpoint is inserted into the story. Anyone that has been around a dog would agree that he nailed it. I look forward to reading other books by this author.

Delightfully chilling.
This fun and energetic Way the book reads makes it easy to get swept away in the thrill
Yet another masterful monster creation by Koontz

Not at all possible in the realm of reality, but that's Dean Koontz for you. This is a good read. Good story...very entertaining.

My first Koontz. Obviously from my books, I loved it :)
