A feminist ‘coming of rage’ possession story that was amazingly written.
Gave Jennifer’s Body vibes. I liked how the possession wasn’t a demon and had asymbiotic relationship towards the end.
I love a good religious horror/ religion as a metaphor for evil so the priests chapters were so great and even though it’s such a short book he is such a slimey character. And the all the friends within the group felt really fleshed out.

Such a fun read! Definitely enjoyed The Craft vibes, but also loved this as an original story too. Enjoyed the audiobook very much as well.

i’m not sure if this is a YA novel but it definitely felt like it. not a bad thing, but it left me wanting more. ultimately had lots of potential but with a title like “Goddess of Filth” i was expecting…well, filth.

It was a bit too short to my liking, but I truly enjoyed this novella.
Unconventional take on the possession genre, the writing style felt a bit disconnected and disarticulated at times, but it actually made me appreciate it even more.
Like little snippets of Lourdes, Fernanda and their friends' lives, with just enough background from each to care and be intrigued.
