I loved her hockey series but my god this was awful.

None of it felt natural. I didn’t care for any of the characters, the dialogue was so stiff and oddly timed, and when we got to them hooking up I realized I couldn’t care less. I don’t understand what the conflict was. Like why they couldn’t be together. Or why they would even want to be.

honestly I wasn’t rooting for anyone and didn’t feel connected to them. Also why is everything happening within like a month?

Also?? (I didn’t finish the book obviously so maybe we get more information on this) Will and Nat suck. They seem like shitty friends! I don’t know if I was supposed to think they were but it felt like we were supposed to like them and they seemed like assholes to Emmett. I didn’t care for his character but I just couldn’t tell why they made his best friends/ex make him feel like shit. I don’t know. It was weird.
