adventurous lighthearted fast-paced

I enjoyed the overall idea of this, it really made it interesting and the cliff hanger was very well done!! I think the author has a nice way of writing and it comes across and light, easy and enjoyable to read.
The part I struggled the most with was the time progression. The one book covered months, and it felt hard to connect with the characters and relationships because of it. It starts with the FMC not pregnant and then ends with her being 6(?) months along. Plus add in the multiple relationships with the the FMC and the MMCs...it just feels like you fast forward a lot and I'm missing development and connections being made.

this book was an easy, fast-paced read. i can understand why some readers would feel like the story is shallow—especially with the characters. i personally didn’t really feel attached to them. they formed bond (lusty ones) with each other so fast that it felt off. there was no chemistry. as a result, i felt less invested in them.

also, i know that nate was fine with sharing wren, and i went into this book fully knowing that it was a reverse harem. however, i felt sorry that he was pushed aside into a background character the moment wren’s love interests were introduced. he was basically a lamp with how wren treated him once prettier dicks were shoved to her face.

Epic

This was fantastic! I need book 2 immediately. This story had me right from the start. Now I am invested in seeing how it all turns out. Everyone should give this a chance they won't be disappointed.

McGinty has done it again! Tangled Threads of Fate dragged me in and would NOT let me go. The world building was fantastic. I laughed out loud, quite often confusing my kids and husband as to what I was laughing at. And the men that Wren finds herself surrounded by are just what I needed on my Sunday afternoon. There was quite a bit of action, a touch of steam, and even a twist or two! I seriously can't wait for A Single Thread of Hope!

I didn’t expect there to be like 6 love interests. I get a why choose but damn they really meant it here lol. Interested to see where it goes bc it went 0-100. Not a huge pregnancy trope fan but the characters are funky so I’m gonna read the next one. I feel bad that Nate got kinda cockblocked by everyone though like he was the lover and then book 5 more seemingly out of nowhere. Also I assumed Cy wasn’t just a dog but ending on that was hilarious. I also don’t think Demke is dead bc she totally would’ve felt it with the bonds.

This very much felt like it was written by Grace McGinty having read a number of her books. The parts which I enjoy of her books (the imaginative storytelling and interesting world building for instance) were all there but I also felt like it fell into some of the same things I felt didn't work with some of her other books (too many love interests to keep track of and to really have meaningful development with and a pretty loose interpretation of mythologies which I personally find irritating).
