Well, it was a great ride but the emotional connection between the characters fell short. I agree with most of the reviews that feel that bit of lack. If she had kept going with them all continuing to connect into this book before they all broke apart to deal with drama, it would have felt more cohesive. But, again, more laughs and sass. Definitely worth reading. I can't stop laughing at the thought of a shirt for a cupid that says "I blow and shoot for a living"... just that edge of acceptable crass, you know?
A quote to end the series: Seeing the look in his eye, I shake my head. “Uh uh. I really am sleepy. No sexy times.” He laughs. “Sure.” I cross my arms. “I’m serious. My puss pearl is clammed up for the night. My tuna pot pie is already put away in the Tupperware. This fun hatch is closed for business, Evert.”
Priceless.

I enjoy this book fairly enough, I just liked the two firsts more.
For one thing, it did not really live up to its political intrigue. Secondly, I found the ending kind of anticlimactic, even though the whole series kind of build it up. Thirdly, I wish there was more Otok in this book (I don't know why nobody seems to like him, I think he is very sweet).
Overall, it was an enjoyable book and I am kind of bumped that the series is coming to an end.
