I’m honestly not completely sure what to say. This was a lot darker than I thought it would be, but I did enjoy it; to a point. The entire thing of Noelle kidnapping Ellie and the forcing her to have a baby didn’t sit right with me. Hardly any of this book did. The pure hatred I have for Noelle is unbelievable. In the end though, I’m glad Poppy’s with Laurel now. I genuinely believed that Ellie would make it. I cried at the end of this. Overall, I give it 4.5/5 stars, but I’d only recommend it to a certain audience.

I was conflicted whether to give this a 4 or 5! I read the book in two days and was easily intrigued by the plot. I found the storytelling from different characters' points of view to be effective. I did predict where the book was going but it was nonetheless dark and prompted me to continue reading. I was pleased with the ending and especially with Laurel's repaired relationship with her daughter Hanna, who I felt quite badly for throughout. I look forward to reading more from this author!

This was such a great read. At first it started slow, but this may be due to my impatience, since i prefer fast paced stories. I appreciated the different perspectives from key characters which helped unfold the story. The ending was moving - I may or may not have shed some tears.

I liked it, although it was quite clear at some point what the plot would be. No real plottwists, bit still good story.
