I really enjoyed this book. Eli and Charlie are rich characters. And the author has done the West proud in this cowboy tale. I would recommend.

The writing is definitely a choice. The story was only engaging in the middle. Even as characters got there comeuppance it just didn't feel right. The book just fell flat at the end and I wish to unread it.
