I will not give a star rating as I feel that I have been spoilt lately with some beautifully written novels, that this was simply such a letdown from the first page. I immediately disliked the narrative, language, and speed.
Having only read 68 pages, I am most certainly unable to give a fair review. However, what I did read was disappointing, humour lacking for my tastes, and nothing was grabbing me to give it a good shot.

5/5⭐️. I love this book so much. It’s just the perfect adventure. 2 brothers trying to complete another routine job but, life has other ideas. I was so entertained by this story. It was a page turner and I looked forward to reading this every day. There’s dark comedy and some ironic comedy. It seems like everyone think Eli is special? But he probably has the best dialogue in the novel and he learned a lot about himself. I’d recommend this to anyone.

Eli: “Into your head.”
“I can’t feel it? And I can’t hardly hear anything. Where’s the others?”
Eli: “They’re lying next to you. Their heads have bullets also.”

A refreshingly straightforward novel. Sometimes it's nice to sink into a story that isn't an allegory or an allusion. This is a fun adventure Western with some memorable characters, nothing more, nothing less.
Hilarious (dark, deadpan occasionally slapstick), quirky, memorable and endearing characters, plotlines that kept you on the toe the entire time, although a lot of unsatisfying endings... if they are endings at all. Also it's pretty easy to read but immersive.
