OMG, what am I going to do when I get all caught up in the series? Ack! I loved this one even more than the last.

I felt this book was tge slowest of the series so far, but it was necessary to get to the action of the feast and beyond.
Although, as a Shane fan, the final line of the book killed me!

Wow, talk about a non stop action packed, on the edge of your seat read. I loved this one. There was no character growth, however there were so many turns and twists I haven't decided who I should like or dislike. And it just leaves you wanting more.

Oh ye Gods! I get more disappointed by each next book. Every new character continues to be more interesting than Claire. She turns more naive instead of having more experience, or using the experience she got so far. The physics titles get flung all over even though she STILL does not "get" how some obvious things are physics+magic etc etc.
Really the only thing I liked was Myrnin.

Oh my gods. This one was off the MF chain.
Amelie’s dad(?!) rolls into town on the heels of Claire’s parents. And secrecy and deception reign.
There’s a coup. There’s danger and sacrifice. There’s confusion and betrayal. Claire, fool that she is, makes a big play (for her anyhow) and aligns herself. She’s actually the first of all humans and vamps to step beside Amelie.
Shit. Goes. Down.
I hate that this is an 8 book set bc I’m gonna have to go back and mark it as reading and then somehow don’t count it for my total read… unless I just don’t count one of the books but I need to review them all lol.
