Un libro excelente para comenzar a aprender y con mucha información útil. Leerlo siempre es bueno para refrescar porque su autor no se va por la tangente y usa pocas metáforas, y las que usa son sencillas y directas.
An excellent book to start learning and lots of useful information. Reading it is always good to refresh because the author doesn't go off on tangents and uses few metaphors, and the ones he use are simple and straightforward.

Somehow this one always missed me, but here we are now. Basic. Dated. But necessary in its own way.

This felt like a less researched version of other books I've read. I skipped the whole Book of Shadows as I'm less interested in the rituals.

Great introduction to Wicca that gave great resources for further reading and fostered a feeling of judgement free learning and development. Despite encouraging an autonomous Wiccan development, also provided a helpful library of chants, spells, and recipes for anyone wanting a referential guide to creating their own.

Basic, bare-bones simplicity for the beginner Pagan. It's not the end-all to Wiccan practice, but it provides the basic building blocks to start exploring one's place in the world.

This book made me realize Wicca wasn't for me and that's okay. I still think this book is a good introduction to witchcraft and does a good job of explaining the seasons and sabbaths there are a few problems I have with this book though.

1) it is very euro-centric
2) doesn't really explain the source for things (i.e. watchtowers)
3) said you shouldn't call upon your ancestors or believe you can call upon your ancestors if you believe in reincarnation.

I probably have others but it's been a while since I read this book. It is a good book for beginers as many have said but if you're looking for a more up-to-date, more inclusive book I would pick up something else. I don't regret reading this book but I also don't think it's a 'must-read' for anyone starting or on their path.

I appreciated this book as an overview of one practitioner's perspective.  It is outdated in places and also repeatedly respectful of and encouraging other perspectives.  It's not comprehensive, and I'm not sure it's trying to be.

A good basic overview of Wicca.
