Wonderful. My favourite of Austen's so far. An interesting discussion of the true difference between selfishness and a strong self-will.

It's not quite a 4* but I did like this one. One of the more enjoyable Austen books I've read. Overall, I don't think her books are for me, but I'm glad Persuasion was the last one in my collection.

Really enjoyed reading Persuasion. Having recently read Jane Austen at home gave context which helped me to enjoy it more, and I was glad not to know the plot before reading it (unlike some Jane Austen books), because I found it gripping at times, not knowing what was going to happen. The writing style was difficult to get into at first but I got used to it and found it easier to read as I went along. Looking forward to reading some more Jane Austen in future.
