Blood on Snow

Jo Nesbø

3.34 AVERAGE

Solid stand-alone novel by Nesbø, with more playful prose than usual and an interesting main character. The plot moves like a bullet, and while it's probably something you've seen before, it's interesting enough to keep reading.

I loved the writing but the ending was a little confusing in an audiobook fashion. I can't wait to see the rest of the series.

Nope. Did not like it. It was creative... but mostly it felt like he was writing a fluffy novella. Or a novice was writing in his voice. Disappointment.

Is this some kind of joke?

I can't figure out if I'm into the audio book thing. This is only my second one, and I can't decide if I just didn't like Blood on Snow or if I didn't like listening to it. Because of that, I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and rating 3 stars instead of 2.

This book just felt very average. I'm glad it wasn't long by any means, and part of me feels like it should have been even shorter. I felt like there was a lot of redundancy in the descriptions that could have just been cut out.

I don't know... I just wasn't blown away at all. Just so-so. An easy and quick read. But nothing I'd necessarily recommend. Meh...

I enjoyed this book and was only disappointed when the story ended.
