2,5/5 I think

The only reason why I kept reading this book was because I bought it, it was short, and the main character, Olav, was actually intriguing. Despite its shortcomings, I was interested to find out what happened to Olav. He’s the hitman who fell in love, so of course I’m the type of person who wants to know what happens to him! The ending was pretty good though, not going to lie about that. But getting to ending was a struggle, and based on my impression of The Snowman, I was completely left disappointed with this novel.

Well, this was a bit of a disappointment. Felt more like a short story than a stand-alone novel. Not much story or character development, then it ends. Perhaps I was just expecting more, having really enjoyed diving into the Harry Hole series.

fast-paced

This book is darn short! Yet, there were twists! Which covered a lot of grounds. Also, the author spent a lot of writing on this character’s inner thoughts, which is a little interesting. It only took me an hour and half to finish this book.
