I do love fanfiction.
I do love lgbtq+ themed books (and this one was on a 'must read 2024' list, so I though, of course!).
That being said, as fun and quirky as this book was, it was just kind of middle of the road for me. I can't actually pinpoint why I didn't fall in love with it, just know that I didn't. It is a quick read/listen and again, very cute and quirky. Lighthearted is great!

This was the cutest little YA book! The fanfic character come real plot a fun and executed so well in the audiobook! The amount of giggling I did while listening to this audio was truly so refreshing and simply put FUNNNNN!!!

I really like the concept of The Perfect Guy Doesn't Exist but I like the story between Ivy and Mack more than Weston coming to life. While his antics are funny at first, eventually it gets a little old when Ivy constantly has to worry about who will watch him. Ivy and Mack healing their friendship made for the much better storyline.
DNF @ 26%.
