Ugh...this was such a middling book to end my year on. It was a love-triangle story with the same vibes as a CW Teen Drama including the fact that all of these characters who are in their mid-30s act like teens.

This was not my favorite. The FMC was just not likeable. And the miscommunication trope was practically the entire book. So many really immature and stupid things. That being said, I did like the timeline jumps and thought the general storytelling and prose were pretty good, so that carried me thru to the end of the book, but it wasn't for me.

the protagonist, maggie, pmo soooo much she was MESSY but ultimately did what we had to do for herself which i appreciate. having two men pine after you/be just as in love and obsessed with them and cant do anything ab it for more than 10+ years would probably make me act insane also. overall enjoyed this, but some parts of the plot were dry/didnt connect for me. Loved that the center of the love story was ab ppl in their mid/late thirties, no timeline! On! Love!
