I was really torn on this one. A love triangle is a little bit of a change of pace and I really liked the premise of having to choose between your childhood love and the unrequited love of your adult life. That being said… the FMC and one of the MMCs were not particularly likable… I really disliked the cheating and dishonesty associated with that storyline and it made it hard to root for that relationship in any way. I also wish the book was like 5% longer… the ending felt so rushed and I wish there had been more closure with Garret and more insight into Maggie and Asher’s happy ending.

My apologies for not reading this when I got an eARC so many moons ago. I have gone through the emotional rollercoaster along with Maggie of reliving every relationship and the what ifs and if only. Apologies to my husband for absolutely ignoring him when I was listening to the last few pages.

This won't be everyone. Relationships are hard. Grief is hard. Glad I already had a copy on my shelves, otherwise I'd have to go out and get one.

A nearly perfect book and I may have found the genre of book that I never want to not read and want to shout from the mountains about. This was very real, and the first time I understood why the FMC was actually not telling her love interest an important thing. I loved this story and the boys (Garrett and Asher) and felt so much empathy for Maggie Vine. Also, I love a supportive and non-toxic best friend, so thank you for writing Summer so perfectly. I would read this again and again, and would recommend to everyone.

Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for this advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Loved this one! Singer is torn between two men- a childhood first love and her equally music-obsessed best friend. The ending was just right.

I should have read the content warnings. This was a little too close to home.
I’m not sure about the ending either. I would have liked it sweeter…

Too much emotional cheating and physical cheating for me. Idc if they’re true loves.
