Mating in Captivity

Eroticism requires separateness

Romantics and realists

Stability and passion

Passion in a relationship is commiserate with how much uncertainty a person can take

Recovering curiosity

QUESTIONS FOR THERAPY: how did you meet? What attracted you to one another?

Separateness is a precondition for connection

Love is about having, desire is about wanting.

It takes two people to create a pattern, but only one to change it.

Thought provoking and a topic not often discussed. Some of the chapters include questionable or extreme stories so I would take everything written with a grain of salt and an open mind
