This book took me a full two weeks to finish. It was very slow at the start and I found the writing difficult to get through. Once Hamilton finally starts telling the myths, it gets easier but I had very little motivation to keep going.

This book took me ages to read but it is well written. I recommend this book to anyone interested in Greek and Roman stories. There are two chapters at the end for Norse stories but there isn’t much at all there.

this book took me actual years to read because I was so bored - I don’t know if there’s something that doesn’t click in my brain or if I just don’t get it but it was so tough for me to get through. the author does a great job of synthesizing old texts into a series of short pages, so maybe it’s just my brain. I ended up skipping stories at the end bc I needed to be done with this book that I bought in like 2017.
