Read this in a day on the plane. Very easy read and an enjoyable alien story. I liked how they were alien and not just humans modified slightly.

This was good, but not quite as good as the first book in the series. I think it was just me not connecting as much with the characters. Like there's nothing wrong with them per se, there were a lot of qualities in them that I'd usually like, but I think the execution of the traits fell a bit short for me. But ultimately I still enjoyed reading the book, and will probably read more in the series.
