This was so cute and emotional thar I just stayed up to 3am to finish it and instantly downloaded the other books by the author. I do think there should have been trigger warnings for the characters backgrounds and for infertility - which is a minor spoiler but pretty important. The book begins by saying to go to the authors website for a list of sensitive topics, but these need to be on page and accessible. While this is a cute romance, I suggest people check the warnings if they have any triggers as parts of this get very emotional about
infertility, abandonment of a baby(on a doorstep), someone who grew up in the foster system and was never adopted, disownment, emotional child abuse, various other negative childhood experiences, depression (about infertility and family abandonment), minor alcohol abuse, and probably more that I can't think of right now

I read Faking with Benefits and tbh I found this to be not as endearing as the other book. The characters and how they fit together made Sense, the ending made sense, and the world delivered was good!

Omg I’m so obcessedddd - I forgot how much I loved the other Lily Gold book I read and never read any of her other stuff but holy shitttt this was so so good
Literally one of the only issues with it is that at one point it mentions the pandemic which took me out of the story for a min but thankfully it only comes up once :)

“We don’t have to love anybody who doesn’t love us back.”

I LOVE LILY GOLD.
I knew I loved her when I read Faking With Benefits.
Her writing shows who she is as an author and her strength, and you can't stop when you start her work.

It is a romantic comedy, and let me tell you, and it is hilarious. The humour was on another level. Sometimes it's dark, witty, sarcastic and just LILY GOLD!
One of the things I love about Lily's writing is the story she gives each character.
Yes, it's a reverse harem, and yes, it's about sex and love, but each character has their own story to share, which made the book even better.

Nanny for the Neighbors point of focus was family.
We get different plotlines of family issues.
In this read, we get to read on; foster care, adoption, broken family, abuse, abandonment, infertility, single parent, new parent and trauma.

I love the balance we get in different POVs, and each character's stories were nicely lined up and flowed perfectly. Jake is cute, Cyrus is bae, and Seb is DADDY. Heh heh heh.
I love the relationship they each have with Cami. It was so cute. You could see how they are as a parent by their action and dialogue.
Their crush on Beth was everything. i love that they each have one-on-one time with her.
The spicy scenes, though, were EXTRA EXTRA SPICY. Especially Seb; damn, I didn't know he had it in him.

My favourite scene was when Beth visited Cyrus to work.
It was all cute and spicy but towards 80% of the read when I couldn't stop crying.
The plotline got serious, and we really dive into the deep stuff.
It was heartbreaking but so important.
I  love that Lily didn't really give a happy ending in a lot of things; it seems more realistic that way.

I can't wait to read more of her work!

"I stared at her, disbelieving. She's sorry. Sorry, for being the first person to stand up for me in my entire life."

I enjoyed this! It was pretty interesting, and it did have a good reverse-harem romance. The characters were very cool, but the main character got annoying at some points. Also, she forgave the men WAY too quickly for my liking.

☑️ would maybe reread it, but not definitely
